Viton G is a peroxide cured fluorocarbon rubber based on the Viton GF
polymer from DuPont-Dow Elastomers. It has an excellent resistance
toward concentrated acids, even better than Viton B.
Typical Applications:
High temperature oil applications
Concentrated inorganic acids (Conc. Sulphuric acid up
to 125 C)
Not for steam / water high temperature applications.
Typical Properties:
Hardness 82 Shore A
Tensile Strength 15 MPa
Elongation at break 220 percent
Not food approved
Maximum continuous temperature 200 C or 130 C when
water / steam is present
Property Overview:
The greater the distance from the middle the better.
