ABC MULTIPURPOSE

ABC is suitable for use as a recharge agent in most manufacturers fire extinguishers that utilize mono ammonium phosphate based dry chemical powder. It is most suitable for use on combination fires involving Class A, B, or C fires together. It is yellow in color and is not recommended for fires involving cooking or vegetable oils.

PURPLE K "PK"

PK is a potassium bicarbonate based dry chemical and considered the premium powder for use in all high risk areas such as refineries, chemical plants, and airfields where superior fire extinguishing capabilities are a must. PK is used on both Class B and Class C type fires. It is also used extensively in twin agent fire extinguishing systems and as well as large dry chemical fixed systems covering liquid natural gas pumping stations. PK is purple in color.
