Outdoor location of water meters offers advantages to the Water Department and to the consumer. Metering ahead of service lines records all water used, including leakage and wastage. Meter reading is simplified both as to time and accuracy. Meters can be changed without inconvenience, and an unauthorized person cannot gain access to a consumer’s home by posing as a meter reader.

2. Special lettering if required.

3. Special lift handle if required.

Furnished standard without lettering.

Furnished with as-cast bearing surfaces.
